I recently used Barnes Sklare Remodeling for a custom project. From my initial consultation with Chris to my consistent interaction with Mark and Josh, I remained impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. There were never any suprises during the entire process. While most projects are about asthetic, my proposed project had a lot of sentimental value and they treated it as such. I truly could not have asked for a better experience and very much look forward to working with this company in the future. My wife and I came across BS Remodeling on a recommendation from Building 9, where we were going to purchase our kitchen cabinets from. We met Chuck Sklare and gave him our very firm budget for a remodeling project, along with our "wish list", which was a total open concept kitchen. We were shocked that he not only said he could do it, but stay within our budget as well. We were told the entire project would take 24 days. This amazing project was completely done on day 24! The entire crew, along with Chris Barnes and Chuck, were professional and efficient from day one. They showed up everyday at 8 am and left by 4, always cleaning up as they ended the day. The finished product ended up more stunning than my wife and I could hope for. If you are looking for a reliable contractor who will do exactly what you want and go above and beyond at times when you don't even expect them to, then BS Remodeling needs to be your next contractor! I highly recommend them.
We recently had our flooring replaced and built a dry bar in our bonus room. I was very pleased with the work done by Chris and crew. They arrived early every day, completed the project on time, and were respectful to myself and children during the project. At the end of each day they would clean up before leaving. This made it easy to still use the space during the project and cut down on dust etc. Any time we had questions or concerns Chris was quick to respond and offer suggestions/help. The end result was wonderful and I look forward to using them on future projects. I would highly recommend this company, especially to those in the Tallmadge area.
BS Remodeling were thorough and professional at all times. From concept to completion, everyone worked as a team with one goal-to give us the bathroom we envisioned. With their guidance, we were able to accomplish more than we had hoped. They even made time to redo an area outside the contracted job. This truly helped us out. Our contractor also made our quartz countertop a possibility by meeting with the stone contractors personally at our home to help them with the difficult install. They answered our questions and offered guidance, but never tried to remove our personality from the project. They only enhanced our vision. They cleaned up after themselves every day before they left, even though it took more time to do so. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends.
